Portfolio Partners Ltd was founded

Portfolio was born from dips. Our MD, Adrian spotted an opportunity in travel retail. He sold 3 dips to 3 different airlines and the rest was history.

2002

Ambient snack box

Portfolio developed and launched the first ever ambient snack box onboard easyJet.

2003

Pringles took to the skies

We launched the first mini pot of  Pringles into the air. 15 years on, this snack is now synonymous with flying.

2005

Nicola joined Portfolio

Our Business Development Manager Nicola joined the Portfolio family.

2007

McVitie’s became part of our Portfolio

The biscuit and confectionary giant McVitie’s joined our brand Portfolio.

2008

McVitie’s & Mars collaboration

We worked with McVities and Mars to bring the Mars Muffin to the travel market. This became an overnight favourite.

2009

We got listed on RyanAir

We got our first product listed on board Ryanair and have been working with the largest airline in Europe since!

2010

Ambient Ready Meals

We brought the first ambient ready meals to the travel market, meaning hot meals could be served on board short haul flights.

2010

First kids box in travel

We developed and launched the first kids snack box on board.

2011

Mark joined Portfolio

Mark became our Financial Director.

2012

Gold Sponsors of ISPY

We became Gold sponsors of the prestigious ISPY event. 

2013

Launched crew engagement & events

We launched our Crew Engagement programme, benefitting both customers and suppliers.

2014

Move to Waltham

We moved to Waltham Court, to our lovely offices in leafy Berkshire.

2015

Jenny joined Portfolio

We started using Agile HR, and Jenny became our HR Manager.

2016

Partnership with Retail in Motion

We started our working partnership with RiM. They’re often our means of distribution and our sourcing partners.

2017

Ventured into the Rail Industry

With a view to expand - Portfolio now operate within the rail sector. 

2018

Expanding business in the Middle East

Portfolio have been on Middle Eastern road trips this year, looking to expand our business further.

16th year exhibiting at World Travel Catering Exhibition

This was our 16th consecutive year at the show, formally known as International Travel Catering Association.

Michele joined Portfolio

Michele joined Portfolio as our in-house Finance Assistant.
